Application for CSA Work-Trade Position
Work-Trade helpers come to Lynchburg Grows for a four-hour shift on their scheduled Wednesdays during the growing season. This year's season runs from April 3rd to November 27th. About 200 CSA members come to the farm every Wednesday between 9am and 6pm to pick up their shares. Throughout their shift, Work-Trade helpers are responsible for refilling the produce displays that are set up for members to choose from, assisting members as needed, and performing any other tasks as directed by the CSA Manager. The position requires being physically-fit enough to bring the food out of cold storage and onto the displays at a brisk pace for the entire four-hour shift.
